The development of economy is necessarily followed by the adjustment of industrial structure. Due to its special features, heavy industry is the determined force to accelerate the growth of our nation＇s economy. Being a coastal open city, Fuzhou has its favourable geographic conditions and resource advantages. Therefore, to insist on reasonable heavinizing the industry, speeding up the innovation of the policies of industrial structure, industrial organizing, indurstrial arrangement and industrial techology, finding out an industrial development route which is suitable for the local economy, are crucial for improving the regional competitiveness of Fuzhou.
