This article illustrates the main task of engineering graphics education and the educative concept which the educators of the engineering graphics have in the new age. It reflects the factors affecting the spatial thinking and the relationship between the spatial thinking and engineering graphics. It also puts forward some viewpoints on specific methods of improving the spatial thinking capability of students.
