摘要
介绍了一种基于CMOS工艺的RS 422全工收发器芯片的工作原理及其电路与版图的设计。该芯片采用单电源5 V供电,输出驱动电流达27 mA,通信速率10 Mb/s。芯片内置的过温保护及ESD保护可保证芯片在恶劣工作条件下的稳定性。采用华润上华0.6μm CMOS工艺模型,对该电路进行了HSpice仿真,结果表明符合RS 422标准。
A design method of RS 422 full duplex transceiver chip is introduced. Design of each block is described in detail and layout consideration is also presented in brief. The chip is supplied by single 5 V voltage source,output driving current is 30mA,baud rate is 10Mbps. The internal thermal protection and ESD protection ensures the stability of the chip under tough circumstance. Results from HSPICE simulation with CSMC 0.6μm standard CMOS process show that the circuit can meet all the requirements of RS 422.
