摘要
隐喻是人类认知世界的重要手段。空间隐喻作为一种意象图式隐喻,在人类的认知活动中扮演了不可或缺的角色,许多抽象概念都是由空间隐喻构建的。IN和OUT均表现为一种空间意象图式,是以人体为容器原型的隐喻投射。容器的空间性状都被投射到了非空间事物或概念上,使抽象和未知的概念更具体,更容易被感知。杂乱无章的语言现象归纳到了容器隐喻里,同时丰富了语言表达。
Metaphor is an important cognitive instrument.Spatial metaphor,as a kind of image schema,plays an important role in human＇s cognition of the world. It constructs many abstract concepts.Both IN and OUT appear as spatial image schema.It is a kind of metaphorical mapping based on human body as the prototype of container.The spatial characteristics of container are mapped onto the nonspatial concepts.It makes the abstract and unknown concepts vivid and easy to understand.Meanwhile language is categorized into different metaphorical containers and enriched in its use.
