The Next-Generation Bridge Management System Based on Reliability

通过对桥梁管理系统发展历程的回顾、对其现状的考察和对其未来的预测,发现目前的桥梁管理系统存在缺陷,这些缺陷能够通过一种基于可靠度的桥梁管理方法予以克服。研究了这种方法的基本理念、桥梁可靠度状态和影响桥梁全寿命过程的不确定性因素等。

Via reviewing the past of bridge management systems, examining their present, and forecasting their future, it is found that current bridge management systems based on condition states have limitations, and that these limitations can be overcome by using a new bridge management approach based on reliability. Basic concepts of the approach, such as reliability states, influence of uncertainties on bridge reliability, are discussed.
