The architecture of Indigo which is a unified programming model of Microsoft for building service-oriented applications is introduced. The relationship between Indigo and the existing distributed application technologies in the. NET Framework is discussed in detail,and the functrons and characteristics of Indigo including security,reliable message transmission and transaction support are analyzed.
