摘要
多帧组合是扩展CMOS图像传感器(CMOS Image Sensor,CIS)动态范围的有效方法。在已流片成功的CMOS图像传感器基础上对实时多帧组合方法开展研究,提出一种实时自适应控制与多次采样组合相结合的控制方法。通过获取加权光强平均值以及饱和像素数目和严重欠曝光像素的数目,对场景光强进行评价,对采样控制方式、次数和积分时间和组合算法进行实时控制,完成30万像素版图设计验证和FPGA验证。模拟仿真结果证明该方法的实时性和有效性。
Multi-capture composition is a valid method on extending the dynamic range of CMOS image sensor (CIS). In this paper, multi-capture composition using in real-time control is studied. By acquired the average value of all pixels, the number of saturated pixels and severe underexposure pixels, the control mode, the number of exposure, integrating time of each exposure and composition algorithm is determined in real-time. This method has been implemented in a 640× 480 CIS and simulated with FPGA. The simulated result indicates this method can extend the dynamic range effectively.
