摘要
2005年6~7月,西安市政府在财政部、国家文物局、陕西省文物局的大力支持下,实施“大明宫含元殿御道保护工程”,拆除了含元殿遗址以南南北长650、东西宽约400米的范围内的全部建筑物。
In 2005, to implement the project of protecting the imperial road-site in the Tang Daminggong Palace, the Xi'an Municipal Government pulled down all the modern buildings within the site and moved their occupants elsewhere. From August 2005 to June 2006, the archaeological team carried out prospective and trial excavation on the site. They discovered remains of the Dragon-head Canal, its bridges, and the roadway and brick walkway for officials going to the court. These important findings contribute to making up the shortage of ancient literal records, provide new material evidence for investigating the form and layout of the anterior court in the Tang Daminggong, and have great academic value to researching into the architecture of the ancient Chinese palace-city.
