Shenzhen Stock Exchange:a Chinese Nasdaq?

作为一个“中国特色”、自上而下的制度产物,深交所的设计者们希望它能像纳斯达克一样,成为高成长企业的资本助推器。但在众多参与者看来,“万里长征”才走了第一步。

Shang Fulin,chairman of Securities Regulatory Commission,once sketched the overall pic- ture about China's multi-layer capital market in a public speech:Shanghai and Shenzhen Stock Exchange will undertake different functions-Shanghai Stock Exchange should take the New York Stock Exchange as the role model and strengthen itself,while Shen- zhen Stock Exchange should learn from the Nasdaq and establish a multi-layer securities market including Main Market,Growth Enterprise Market and OTC mar- ket. The architects hope that Shenzhen Stock Exchange can become the capital-propeller of enterprises with high potential,as a Chinese top-down product of system.But in the view of many participators,it was still the first step of a'long march'.
