广西高校专业结构调整:经济结构调整的要求与应对

On the Relationship between Structure of University Disciplines and Economic Structure of Guangxi

广西在"十一五"期间及以后的较长时期,经济结构尤其是三大产业结构的调整以及区域特色经济的发展对人才培养提出了新的更高的要求,然而目前广西高校的专业结构还存在诸如重复设置现象严重、与经济发展关系密切的专业设置不足、新设专业基础薄弱等许多问题,不能适应广西经济和社会发展对人才培养的需要。因此,必须调整广西高校的专业结构,深化传统专业的改革,减少专业设置的简单重复现象,增加现有专业结构中缺乏而经济和社会发展急需的专业,打破专业学科之间的壁垒,实行多种形式共建专业,加大应用型专业人才的培养。

During the period of the 11^th Five-Year and the years to come, the adjustment of economic structure especially that of the three industrial structures and the development of regional economy require a new promotion of talent cultivation. However, there are many problems in discipline structure in the universities of Guangxi, such as duplicated construction of disciplines, weak foundation of new disciplines and so on. Therefore, there is a need to adjust discipline structure, deepen the reform of traditional disciplines, reduce duplicated establishment of disciplines, break the barrier between disciplinary specialties and put emphasis on the training of talents with practical skills.
