摘要
介绍了一种用于铸钢件的可替代锆英粉涂料的新型醇基砂状涂料,耐火骨料采用以70~200目为主的铬铝质砂状材料。这种涂料有着良好的悬浮稳定性,涂刷流畅,多次反复涂刷不起皮,附着强度高,发气量小。它与高温钢液接触时,有着很高的热稳定性,不与FeO等金属氧化物起熔蚀反应,抗钢液渗透能力强。在许多铸造厂应用表明:其防渗透粘砂效果优于锆英粉涂料。当涂刷达到5~6遍,可以部分替代铬铁矿面砂工艺而应用于厚大铸钢件热节处。
A new type of alcohol base sand state coating that may replace zircon coating for steel castings is introduced in this paper. The refractory of the coating is comprised of 70-200 mesh chromite and alumina sand materials. This coating has some features such as good suspension stability, brushing being easy and smooth, the paintcoat being not stripped off the moulds as painting too thick, high adhesive force to the surface of the sand cores and the moulds and a small amount of gas produced. It has very high heat stability, does not form erosion reaction with FeO or metal oxides and does not produce low melting point slag, so the coating can prevent molten steel from penetrating into the pores of the sand moulds to form mechanical penetration or burn-on. Applications in many foundries have shown that effect of the coating on resisting penetration is better than that of zircon coating. As painting up to 5-6 times on the heat knobs of the moulds for thick section steel castings it can partly substitute for chromite face sand process.
