邓颖超是我国儿童少年工作的卓越领导人。她认为做好儿童工作是百年树人的起点,主张大力举办多种形式的保育机构,强调儿童教育要明确目标和讲究方法,要实施创造教育,家庭、学校、社会要各尽其责,密切合作。她的儿童教育思想有力地促进了我国儿童教育事业的发展,至今仍有指导和借鉴意义。

Deng Yingchao was a great torchbearer of children education in China. She took children education as starting points for talent cultivation. She proposed to set up multi-formal child care institutions and emphasized that children education should carry out creative education, should have definite objectives and daintily methods. Thus, family, school and society should act in close coordination and separately fulfill their duties to the greatest extent. These thoughts have effectively promoted the cause of children education in China and still have remarkable guiding and referential meaning for present preschool education.
