摘要
郭澄清《大刀记》的两个版本,其史诗性的文化品格有着巨大差异。经过主流意识形态置换和删节后的《大刀记》,把初稿本第一部删节成了"开篇",它隐约地传达了作者希冀的另一种文化意蕴,即郭澄清本来是把《大刀记》当作对中国近代历史发展规律予以艺术阐释的史诗性作品来经营的。《大刀记》的两个版本的比照,不仅可以透视作家个体在社会缝隙中如何苦苦寻找自我表达的方式,而且也能透视意识形态是如何无情地中断和删除作家所意识到的历史内涵和现实关怀,从中可以发见其显著的文学史意义和价值。
There are enormous differences between the two editions of Guo Chengqing' s Story of a Broadsword (Da Dao Ji) so far as their culture characters are concerned. The first part of the edition abridged through the replacement of the main ideology has become the "be^nning", implicitly indicating another cultural implication the author hopes to convey, i. e. originally, Guo Chengqing regards The Story of a Broadsword (Da Dao Ji) as an epic illustrating artistically the law of modem Chinese historical development. Through the two editions, not only how the writer as an individual painstakingly seeks in the social rips a self- expression way can be revealed, but how a writer' s ideological outlook and concem with reality is interrupted and abridged by ideology, thus, discovering its significance and values in literary history.
