In order to assure the finite property of the residual lifetime inequality that another method of the proof different to the one in cise than the one in entropy, it is followed from Jensen , which makes the proof more con is given. In addition, the problem about the finite property of the residual entropy is discussed for a class of distributions dependent on a single parameter to get the conclusion that the deriv ative of the residual entropy with respect to the parameter can be controlled by the Fisher information.
