Investment in Fixed Assets from January to August in 2007

国家统计局9月14日公布的最新数据表明，2007年1—8月份，城镇固定资产投资66659亿元，同比增长26．7％。其中．国有及国有控股完成投资28777亿元，增长16．7％；房地产开发完成投资14277亿元，增长29．0%。

In the urban areas, the completed inv estment in fix ed a ssets of the country from January to August in 2007 was 6,665.9 billion yuan, up by 26.7 percent over that of in the previous year. In terms of different areas, from Janu- ary to July in 2007, the completed in- vestment in the eastern areas stood at 2,978.6 billion yuan, up by 22.3 percent over that of the previous year; that in the central areas was 1,381.6 billion yuan, up by 35.5 percent; that in the western areas was 1,256.8 billion yuan, up by 29.9 percent.
