MODIS遥感数据特征及其压缩技术研究

Research about the Character and Compression of MODIS Remote Sensing Data

MODIS是EOS计划中新一代光学遥感仪器,广泛应用于地球长期观测、地球环境监测、自然灾害监测方面。首先简要地概述EOS及MODIS特性,接着分析MODIS数据特征,总结当前出现的各类MODIS数据压缩技术,最后介绍几种典型算法。

MODIS is the new generation remote sensing instrument in the EOS,which could be widely used in the long term observation of the earth、monitoring of earth environment and natural disasters.In this paper,EOS and the characteristics of MODIS are firstly depicted in brief,then analyze the character of MOIDS data and summarize kinds of MODIS data compression methods at present,and at last introduce several typed algorithm in detail.
