摘要
绝大多数抑郁症和自杀的生化研究表明5-羟色胺(5-HT)是与其有关的关键性神经递质。色氨酸羟化酶(TPH)是5-HT生物合成的限速酶,本文对TPH及其基因多态性在自杀发病机制中所起作用的研究现况和进展作一综述。
It is widely accepted that the neurotransmitter serotonin (5-hydroxytryptamine, 5-HT) playing an important role in many psychiatric disorders, especially depression and suicidal behavior. Tryptophan Hydroxylase is the initial and rate-limiting enzyme in the biosynthesis of 5-HT. This paper is attempted to review the new progress of investigation into TPH gene polymorphism related with suicidal behavior mechanism.
