As a new-born thing of Internet, Web 2.o has characters such as to be active, self-organizing, decentralization, soeiality, microcontent and openness. The application of Web2.0 has been significantly affecting the library information service. Using the core technique of Web 2.0 such as Blog, Rss, Wiki and Ajax in the library discipline construction service in higher education institutes to build up good, open and interactive academic exchange platform will promote a positive development of knowledge management and discipline construction and effectively improve the information service in libraries. 11 refs.
