俄国立宪会议是布尔什维克政权在不能得到立宪会议支持的条件下解散的。布尔什维克的做法源于它的社会主义理论,也是在战争条件下群众利益需要超越了宪政需要的结果。布尔什维克重视立宪形式,但更重视人民的实际创造。与其说布尔什维克出于政党的利益拒绝了宪政,不如说升华了传统俄国国家与社会之间的关系,融合了传统集体主义和自由主义的成分。

The constitutional conference which did not support the Bolshevik government was dismissed. The action of Bolshevik rested on its socialist theory and also on the needs of the people, which was considered to be more important than the constitutional conference under the war condition. The Bolshevik put the interest of nation and the society on a higher stage and fused the collectivism and liberalism together.
