摘要
长期以来,西方艺术史学理论与方法体系能否与中国古代画学传统有机地结合一直是一个有争议的话题。本文考察近百年来中国艺术学学科发展和形成的过程中西方学术体系对中国艺术史研究的影响,考察中国传统画学理论向现代艺术学的转型过程和不同阶段所出现的问题,以及西方学术话语体系与中国学术传统的交往与冲突中所出现的一些现象和问题。作者在比较和分析的基础上指出,艺术史研究必须走出并超越中西二元对立的迷障,完成中国艺术史学科现代形态的转化与整合。
The organic combination of western art theory and approaches with ancient Chinese painting has long been disputed. This paper investigates the influences of western academic system upon the studies of Chinese art history in the formation and development of Chinese art theory for the past hundred years. It discusses the problems that appeared in the transition from the Chinese traditional painting theory to the modern art theory, as well as those that appeared in the exchanges and conflicts between the western system of academic discourse and the Chinese traditional system. The article, based on a comparative analysis, points out that the studies of art history must move out of and surpass the binary opposition between the east and the west so as to complete the transformation and integration of the modern theory of Chinese art history.
