Development of GPS equipment simulation software

为解决我国船员适任证书考试培训中GPS设备少、学员人数多等问题,使用VB,MapInfo的MapX和Access数据库开发带电子海图的GPS设备仿真软件,用该软件代替GPS接收机进行评估训练.介绍软件的主要功能、开发和运行环境及关键技术并给出主要程序代码.该软件已经过多次测试和很多船员的使用,结果证明学员可以容易地掌握GPS设备操作,其稳定性和训练效果良好.

With fewer GPS equipment and large number of students in training for Chinese seafarer examination of certification of competence, GPS equipment simulation software with electronic chart is developed using VB, MapX of MapInfo, and Access. The software can substitute GPS receivers to evaluate and train seafarers. The functions, developing and running environment and key technologies are introduced and the main codes are presented. The software has been tested for many times and learned by many seafarers. The results show that seafarers can master the operation of GPS equipment easily and the software has good reliability and training effect.
