On Non-language Factors in Oral English Teaching and Learning

摘要 英语教学是大学教育的主要组成部分,尤其是目前,英语早已超越了文字教学的阶段,口语教学已经成为重中之重。然而,英语学习除了受到语言本身的影响之外,诸多非语言因素也直接关系到英语口语教学的效果。因此,本文从情感因素、学习动机、学习策略、语言环境、个人性格等外语口语教学中常见的五种非语言因素着手做一简单的分析,意图阐释这些因素对学习者以及施教者的影响,希望能与对此问题感兴趣的同行进一步探讨商榷。 English teaching and learning concerns the society a lot for ages.English is not only the language on the paper,but the language on the lips currently.Therefore,oral English has been the focus in the college English education.Teachers cast their eyes on those factors which may take influence on oral English teaching and learning.Not only language itself but also students' anxiety,motivation,strategy,language environment,personality,which are called non-language factors,will exert an effect on students' performance of oral English.The article is of those non-language factors in college oral English teaching and learning
