摘要
经实践证明,在对电池(特别是初充电的新电池)充电的全过程中都采用低压恒压充电制,对电池的使用寿命是有严重影响的,用毫安/安时法作为充电终了的唯一判据不具有严格的科学性。本文采用梯度低压恒压充电,即在充电时根据电流衰减情况逐步提高充电电压,电压上升是阶梯式的,电压上限为2.4V/单体,对于本文所列举的电池组,选用100mA/Ah和17mA/Ah作为充电的起始和终止电流,充电时间约12h。现已证明,这种充电方式能使电池保持良好的荷电状态,对通信用铅蓄电池组的维护具有重要的意义。
The practice showed that constant potential charging at a low rate in whole charge process, in particular in the case of initial charging, is detrimental to cycle life performance of lead acid batteries. Adopting the value of final charging current mA/Ah as the sole judgement for charge termination is not accurate. As an improvement, the multi step, low rate constant potential charging is used for the flooded lead acid ba tteries. In this case, the charging voltage is set to rise in steps according to the decreasing current until the gassing voltage 2.4V per cell. The starting and finishing current is selected as. 100mA/Ah and 17mA/Ah respectively for the batteries in this paper. It is proved that this method can be used to maintain the battery in full charge state and is beneficial to the maintenance of batteries in communications application.
