摘要
首先介绍了西北工业大学航空微电子中心设计的32位CISC处理器龙腾C2寄存器文件的设计,针对现有寄存器文件设计方法的不足,提出了一种基于访问频度分体的优化寄存器文件方法,经实验验证,对于CISC体系结构的寄存器文件,本方法在增加少量面积开销的情况下显著降低了功耗。
This paper first introduces the design of the register file of the 32bit CISC processor LongTium C2 which is designed by NWPU AMEC.According to the deficiency of the existing method,this paper proposes an optimized method,which uses multiple banks of registers,whose dividing arithmetic base on the access frequency.Experiments approve that this new method remarkably declines the power consumption under the condition that increases few area.
