试论"后方法"时代的英语教学

摘要 英语教师和研究工作者一直致力于教学法的研究,但迄今也没有找到能针对所有语境的万能教学法。过去曾经流行的种种教学方法已不再适应当代的语言教学需要。针对这种情况,本文提出,“后方法”时代的英语教学应以基于语言和语言学习理论的教学体系为指导,确定一系列相应的教学原则,并根据课程要求、教学目的、学生需求、学习风格、教学环境等设计安排教学活动。 English teachers and researchers have long been engaged in the study of teaching methods,but so far they have not found a method that is applicable to all language contexts. The once popular methods can no longer cater to the contemporary language teaching requirements. In view of this situation, this paper proposes that English teaching in the "post-method" era should be based on the teaching approach - the system of language and language learning theories, a series of corresponding teaching principles ascertained, and teaching activities designed and arranged in accordance with curriculum requirements, teaching purposes, student needs, learning styles and teaching situations.
