中国志愿精神产生于传统的慈善观念,现代以来,随着公民社会的日趋成熟而不断发展和传播。社会主义核心价值体系与中国志愿精神之间不仅是包含与被包含的关系,二者还存在着密不可分的互动关联:一方面,中国志愿精神体现并推动了社会主义核心价值体系的建设进程;另一方面,社会主义核心价值体系的建设促进了志愿精神在全社会范围内更加广泛的传播和普及。中国志愿精神在与社会主义核心价值体系的互动关系中,发挥着凝聚功能、人文教育功能和示范功能,从而有力地促进了社会主义核心价值体系的构建。

Along with the development of Civil society in China ,the volunteer spirit is spreading abroad.The Socialist kernel value system is near relation with Chinese volunteer spirit,on the one hand,volunteer spirit embodies the Socialist kernel value system and drives its construction,on the other hand,the building of the latter advances the diffusion and popularization of volunteer spirit. In the interaction of them, volunteer spirit has the functions of cohesion,humanity education and demonstration.
