Clinical study on Coats disease treatment

目的探讨Coats病药物治疗和激光治疗的效果。方法经眼底荧光血管造影(FFA)确诊为Coats病的患者共7例(7只眼)。平均年龄17.2岁。7只眼均有不同范围的渗出性视网膜脱离。7例均以全身和局部激素、活血化瘀药物治疗后。视网膜脱离范围减小,再行激光治疗。结果药物治疗后,在疗程第10～16周,视网膜下液逐渐吸收,2只眼视网膜基本平复,平均随访10.3个月,所有患者视力明显改善。结论Coats病应早期诊断、早期治疗,对于未形成增生性视网膜病变,视网膜脱离局限的患者行药物治疗联合激光治疗可以控制病情进展,保留有用视力。

Obejctive To investigate the curative effect of medical-treatment and laser treatment against Coats disease. Methods The research object is 7 cases （7 eyes） diagnosed as Coats patients by FFA during 2001 - 2005 in our hospital. The average age of 7 eyes is 17.2 years old. All 7 eyes have exudative retinal-detachment of different range. Cured by whole-body and part-body hormone, along with medical-treatment to promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, all the retinal-detachment range of 7 eyes reduce. By laser-treatment,the osmosis of the retina vas reduced and the retina exudation is absorbed. Results After medicine treatment, during 10th-16th week of the treatment course, the retina absorbs the hquid gradually. Parallel to this, the retinas of 2 eyes recover basically, regular visit followed up a case needs 10.3 month on average. The eyesight of the all patient improves obviously. Conclusion Coats disease should be discovered in early days and be treated actively. As for under-formatlve proliferating retinal pathology, patients with retinal-detachment cured by medical-treatment and laser-treatment combination may control the disease-deterioration and keep useful eyesight.
