A Glance at Recent Chinese Literature

文学越来越丰富,越来越多样化,如果像过去那样对当下文学的潮流、趋势作一个明晰的判断、展望,似乎已不再可能。然有一点可总结的是,虽然文学在社会文化中的"份额"和分量都有所削弱,但是跟它自身过去比,文学反倒更加兴旺、更具活力——当其"强大"时,它实际上是有些单薄的;当其好像变得"衰微"时,它反而五光十色起来。

As literature becomes richer and richer and takes on a diverse look,it is impossible to make a clear judgment and expectation of recent literary tide and trend as before.However,although the share and weight of literature in social culture are weakened,literature is more flourishing and vigorous compared with itself in the past.It is thin and weak when it seems strong.It is multifarious when it seems declining.
