Do Political Mind Work Comprehensively in New Period

思想政治教育历来是统治阶级实现其政治意愿,巩固其统治所采取的有效而必然的教育途径。从古到今,思想政治教育起到了十分重要的作用,在当今构建社会主义和谐社会的大背景下,思想政治工作对社会的稳定、发展,更起到了不可替代的作用,文章从思想政治工作的概念、功能、历史作用、现实作用等几个方面论述了进行思想政治教育的必要性,并从目前思想政治教育中存在的问题,提出了今后思想政治教育应重视和加强的几点建议。

Historically the education on political mind work proves to be one effective and necessary way to realize the ruling class＇s intention and helps to strengthen the ruling position. Consequently it plays a vital role from ancient to current society. By the same token, the political mind work is of great importance for the current Chinese harmonious society. The paper focuses on the concept, function, historical and contemporary role of political mind work. Also main issues on the existing political mind work are made, and some suggestions on how to do the work better are put forward.
