Parametric Construction of Growth Charts by Age Category Data

在大样本和年龄分组合理的基础上，本文提出在绘制生长标准百分位数曲线图时采用生长曲线模型构造中位数曲线，用多项式曲线拟合标准差或百分位数间距构造离差曲线的方法。本方法已用于１９９３年香港儿童与青少年生长标准的制定。

Under the assumption that the data are large and reasonably categorized by ages,a growth model can be chosen to fit the group medians as the median curve, and the standard deviations or the difference between percentiles and the medians can be fitted by the polynomial to construct dispersion curves.This method has applied to construct the growth standard charts for Hong Kong childhood and adolescents.
