摘要
"提高文化素养"是新修订的《大学英语教学大纲》中规定的一项任务。结合大学英语教学实际,阐述了语言教学中文化导入的作用,以及应遵循的原则,使英语教学不只是单纯地教授语言知识本身,而应是培养学生的文化意识和跨文化的交际能力,最终达到培养学生能运用所学语言进行交际的目的。
Improving cultural accomplishment is a requirement that the newly revised 《College English Syllabus》stipulates. Based on College English teaching practice,this paper expounds the function and principles of cultural introduction.As a result,English teaching is not merely confined to the teaching of linguistic knowledge;it involves developing the students＇cultural awareness and cross-cultural communication skills as well.
