This paper attempts to discuss how business contract should be translated from Chinese into English, on the basis of the lexicon features observation in its target language. Business contract, as a legal document, bears intensive illegibility in meaning with solemnity. Hence, the C/E translation of business contract should conform to the law of meaning equivalence in diction with a frozen style.
