摘要
目前分形图像压缩存在的最主要问题是编码速度慢,主要原因是搜索最佳匹配的定义域块耗时太多。本文通过分析影响分形图像编码速度的相关因素,对基于四叉树的分形图像编码提出了一种改进方法,通过缩小搜索范围达到提高搜索效率的目的。实验结果表明,该方法在相近的峰值信噪比和压缩比的情况下,编码速度得到了较大的提高。
At present, the speed of fractal image coding is so slow that it becomes the main problem of fractal image compression. The primary reason for this is that it takes too much time in looking for the best matching domain block. By analyzing the factors that affect the speed of fractal image coding, an approach is presented to improve the searching efficiency by reducing the searching scope. Experimental results have shown that it can accelerate the speed of coding greatly in similar PSNR and compression ratio.
