The author demonstrated the safety prohlerns existing in the mid- and small-scale reservoirs located in Liuzhou city, analyzed the reasons for relatively slow progress of reinforcement work, suggested to make preparation by investigation, identify the reinforcement and security responsibilities for the ill and dangerous reservoirs, increase investment, strengthen construction management, so as to accelerate the progress of reservoir reinforcement in Liuzhou city, ensure construction safety.
