An Analysis of the Causes and Countermeasures of Relatively High Administration Costs of Chinese Government

长期以来,我国政府的行政成本一直居高不下,政府运作不计成本给经济和社会发展造成了巨大损失。因此必须增强政府成本意识,通过改革,革除弊端,最大限度地优化和降低政府成本,改善我国的行政管理工作,提高行政效率和行政效益。

Over a rather long period of time, Chinese government has been running at high costs so that the lack of budgeting has caused a tremendous loss to the development of economy and society. Therefore it is imperative to enhance the awareness of administrative costs of the government so to overcome disadvantages through reformation, to optimize and reduce the government costs to the maximum extent. In this way we may attain the objective of impreving the overall management of the Chinese government and upgrading the administrative effectiveness and profits.
