走内涵发展之路,提高民办高校的教学质量——以西安欧亚学院为例

To increase the teaching quality of non-governmental universities by way of developing its connotation:taking Xi'an Eurasia University as an example

西安欧亚学院通过对未来教育形势分析,权衡利弊,并借鉴国内外著名高校的规模,选择了科学地确定学校规模、走内涵式发展之路的办学模式。学院狠抓以下几项工作:努力优化育人环境,逐步改善办学条件;切实加强队伍建设,提高管理和教学水平;加强专业学科建设,初步形成办学特色;以课程建设为基础,积极推进教学改革;创建质量监控体系。通过不断努力,教学质量明显提高,学生在省部级以上竞赛中每每获奖。学院得到了政府部门的肯定、同行的认可,赢得了良好的社会声誉。

By carefully analyzing the development tendency of future education, weighing its advantages and disadvantages and using the scales of domestic and international universities as reference, Xi＇ an Eurasia University has determined its enrollment of students on a scientific scale so as to develop its connotation. The university has performed the following tasks： to optimize to improve the university facilities; to strengthen the construction of faculty the teaching environment and and increase the levels of administration and teaching; to reinforce the construction of specialities and courses and develop its own features of education; to be active in pushing forward the teaching reform on the basis of course construction ; to create a monitoring system of quality. All in all, through those endless efforts, the teaching quality of the university has been increased a lot, and the students have won a lot of awards in many competitions hosted by ministerial and provincial and higher organizations. Xi＇ an Eurasia University has got supports from the government, praises from the education circle and good reputation from the society.
