摘要
《大学英语课程要求(试行)》指出大学英语教学应利用多媒体和网络技术,采用新的教学模式,使英语教学不受时间和地点的限制,朝着个性化学习,自主式学习方向发展。新模式的采用对教师提出了新的挑战并会引起教师的角色发生转变。文章从学生,教师对于大学英语网络教学模式的适应和对语言活动的不同认识探讨了教师所面临的挑战,指出网络教学新模式对教师提出了更高的要求,并在此基础上提出了教师的角色定位。
The new teaching model based on multimedia and network technology should he adopted by Chinese colleges and universities, so that English language teaching will be free from the constraints of time or place and geared towards students'individualized and autonomous learning. The adoption of the new model is a challenge to English teachers and it has inevitably led to a change of role orientation of them. This paper explores the challenges of English teachers from the aspect of the adaptation and thoughts of students'and teachers'about the new teaching model, and it further points out that the new reaching model has a higher requirement for English teachers, which will bring about the new role orientation of English teachers.
