摘要
以聚乙烯醇(PVA)为分散剂,苯乙烯(St)、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)、甲基丙烯酸(MAA)和甲基丙烯酰氧乙基三甲基氯化铵(DMC)为单体,通过无皂乳液聚合制备丙烯酸酯四元共聚物表面施胶剂。确定了较佳的合成条件:无皂乳液聚合,反应温度80℃,反应时间5h,ω(DMC)=10%,ω(PVA)=8%,ω(KPS)=0.2%,ω(MAA)=5%,n(BA):n(St)=1.1:1;并通过红外光谱(IR)、动态激光光散射(DLLS)、差示扫描量热(DSC)等对其进行了表征。初步应用实验结果表明,该阳离子表面施胶剂可明显提高纸张的施胶度和表面强度。
In order to prepare a new cationic surface sizing agent for increasing the paper sizing value and using in a wider pH value range, cationic acrylate polymer was prepared by emulsifier-free copolymerization using styrene(St), butylacrylate(BA), methacryloxyethyl trimethylammonium chloride(DMC) and methacrylic acid(MAA) as the monomers and polyvinyl alcohol(PVA) as dispersing agent. According to the application results, the optimum reaction conditions were as follows: seed polymerization,temperature 80℃, time 5.0 h, ω(DMC)=10%, ω(PVA)=8%, ω(KPS)=0.2%, ω(MAA)=5%, n(BA):n(St)=1.1:1. And the copolymer was characterized by the IR, DLLS, DSC and so on. The application result showed that the sizing value and surface strength of the paper are improved significantly.
