Research on the Surveying and Mapping History of Qin and Han Dynasties

在考证的基础之上，概述了秦汉时期的测绘管理及测绘职官的设置、疆域测量、地图绘制与天文观测及其重大成果，由此得出了秦汉时期是我国古代测绘体系基本形成时期的结论。

This paper gives a general remark about surveying and mapping administration and official setting, and some importance results of territorial surveying, map making, astronomic observations as well. From this, drawing a conclusion that the Qin (221BC-207BC) and Han (206BC - AD220) Dynasties were the period basically come to a Chinese ancient surveying and mapping system.
