摘要
提出基于三维参数化斜Haar变换的静止彩色图像压缩编码方法,采用计算复杂度低、变换效果好且变换矩阵可随参数灵活变化的新型参数化斜Haar变换,并将彩色图像的R,G,B3个分量看作一个整体同时进行变换,不仅有效地去除了各分量内像素的相关性,还去除了各分量间的相关性.理论分析和实验结果表明:参数化斜Haar变换的重建图像质量接近于准最优的DCT变换,同时,提高了压缩比.该方法计算量较小,尤其适合于编码效率更高的16×16分块方法,可推广应用于画面质量要求不太高的实时视频编码中.
A new color image coding method based on three-dimensional parametric slant-Haar transforms(PSHT) is proposed.The method not only adopts this new well-localized and flexible transform,but also takes the correlation between each component into account.Therefore,it has the advantage of lower computational complexity and higher compression ratio.Simulation results show that the quality of reconstructed image is nearly as good as that of DCT,which is referred as approximately optimal transform.In addition,it makes the more effective block size of 16×16 become practical for implementation and has a good prospect in real-time video coding.
