在社会转型时期,随着社会主义经济体制的逐步建立和改革开放的不断深入,我国经济基础和上层建筑的各个领域发生了剧烈的变化,我国高等教育的各个方面也受到冲击和挑战,并直接影响了当代大学生的人生价值取向。如何根据当代大学生的人生价值观的现状,进一步运用马克思列宁主义基本理论,特别是科学运用邓小平理论,来加强对当代大学生的思想政治教育,使之树立正确的人生价值观,从而把他们培养成为合格的社会主义事业的建设者和接班人,已成为当前高校思想政治工作的首要任务。
