Protective Effects of Masson′s Pine Bark Extract on Incomplete Cerebral Ischemia of Mice and Brain Tumor of Nude Mice

摘要 研究马尾松树皮提取物(MPBE)抗脑缺血和抗脑肿瘤的作用。采用结扎小鼠双侧带迷走神经的颈总动脉造成急性不完全脑缺血模型,测定小鼠的存活时间,采用裸小鼠移植人脑瘤(SF763)的脑内接种模型,测定裸小鼠的生命延长率。结果表明:MPBE可明显延长急性不完全脑缺血小鼠的存活时间,MPBE与阿霉素(ADM)联合使用可明显延长脑瘤裸小鼠的生命延长率,MPBE具有一定的抗脑缺血和抗脑肿瘤的作用。 To investigate the protective effects of masson's pine bark extract (MPBE) on incomplete cerebral ischemia of mice and brain tumor of nude mice ,the model of acute incomplete cerebral ischemia in mice was established by ligating bilateral carotid arteries, and the model of intrabrain transplanted tumor in nude mice was established by implanting human brain tumor (SF763). The survival time was observed in these two models, respectively. Results showed: the survival time of mice by bilateral carotid arteries ligation was obviously prolonged with the dose of MPBE. The rate of life prolongation of nude mice by human brain tumor implantion was obviously increased with the dose of MPBE combining with ADM. MPBE may be useful for prevention of cerebral ischemia and brain tumor.
