Practical application of multimedia technology in food engineering curriculum teaching indicates that it has distinct advantages in teaching activities and it is an important method adopted to improve the teaching efficacy. But as one of modern teaching methods and an auxiliary instrument, multimedia technol- ogy is supposed to be used properly. According to curriculum settings and teaching goal, teachers should abide by the principles： in- class teaching is in guiding position while learning is the principal part.
