5年。在历史的长河中只是短暂的一瞬。但是，党的十六大以来的短短5年，却是我国各项事业取得巨大成就的5年。中国石油石化行业这5年，是伴随着全国各项事业的全面进步而健康、协调、快速发展的5年。可以说是不平凡的5年，是与时俱进的5年，是开拓奋进的5年，是成就显著的5年。这五年，是国际油价在动荡中不断攀升的5年，是油气产量稳步增长的五年．是炼油化工强筋壮骨的5年，是石油化工产品销售布局优化扩张的5年，是基础设施建设突飞猛进的5年，是跨国经营快速拓展的5年，是改革创新勇于进取的5年。中国石油石化行业在这不平凡的5年里，以保障国家能源安全为己任，突出科学发展、和谐发展两大主题，积极转变经济发展方式，认真履行经济责任、政治责任和社会责任，为国家经济建设做出了重要贡献。新的起点，新的使命，新的征程。我们要在党的十七大精神指引下，高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜，继续解放思想，坚持改革开放，推动科学发展，促进社会和谐，不断开创能源工作新局面，为夺取全面建设小康社会新胜利做出新贡献。

Five-year is just a short moment in the long river of history.But in the five years after the 16th National Congress of the CPC, significant achievement have taken place in China's all fields. In these five years,China' s petroleum and petroleum chemical industry has got healthy,harmonious and rapid development with the overall progress of China's all fields.In the five years,international oil price has continuously rose in instability,gas-oil output has steadily increased,the refinery and chemical industry has been strengthened, the sale distribution of petroleum chemicals has been optimized and enlarged,the infrastructure construction has experienced great improvement,transnational operation has rapid explored and reform and innovation has made brave progress. New starting point,new mission,new journey.We should be guided by 17th National Congress of CPC spirit,hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics,continue to emancipate our minds,insist reforming and open,promote scientific development, contribute to social harmony,constantly create new situation of energy work in order to make new contributions to the new triumph of overall constructing a well-off society.
