素质教育目标下的中学物理教育是一个开放的、立体的系统工程。实施这一系统工程的主渠道和主阵地是课堂教学。课堂教学不仅仅是"传道、授业、解惑",应该是在加强基础知识教学的过程中,培养能力,发展个性,全面提高素质。课堂教学应促进学生全面发展,具有养德、开智、健体、审美的功能。

Physics teaching under the goal of quality education in middle schools is an open and cubic systematic project. The chief channel and position to carry out this project is class teaching. Class teaching is not only to transmit wisdom, impart knowledge and resolve doubts, but to train students＇ abilities, help students develop good characters, improve students＇ qualities in every aspect in the process of enhancing the teaching of basic knowledge. Class teaching should be a kind of work which can promote students comprehensively. It can help students have the abilities to cultivate morals, broaden wisdom, keep healthy, and appreciate beauty.
