The Geological Features of Polymetallic Nodules and Sediments in the Central Pacific Ocean and Sampling

简要介绍了中太平洋样区的地质概貌；多金属结核及沉积物的地质特性、化学成分、粒度特征和物理性质；同时讨论了采样方法技术以及采样的代表性等问题。

In this paper, the general geological information in the central Pacific Ocean and geological feathures, chemical and physical properties and size distribution of sediments and polymetallic nodules collected from this area were introduced. Some matters about representative sampling and sampling techniques were also discussed.
