山西省太原市儿童家长口腔保健知识调查

Survey on Oral Health Knowledge Among Children’s Parents in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province

目的掌握太原市5～11岁儿童家长对口腔健康知识的认知水平,为针对性的加强儿童口腔卫生健康教育工作提供依据。方法采用《第三次全国口腔调查问卷(5～11岁儿童家长)》对山西省太原市1880名儿童家长进行了问卷调查,建立SPSS11.5数据库并进行统计分析。结果80%的家长对口腔健康知识能作出正确的选择,但知道乳牙有问题时要积极治疗的家长所占百分比不高(65.96%),知道含氟牙膏有好处的家长仅占39.89%,有65.96%的家长不知道窝沟封闭可以预防儿童龋齿,其中大专及以上文化程度的同高中学历及以下的家长相比有显著性差异。家长对孩子口腔健康的干预行为相关调查中,有61.70%的家长帮助孩子刷牙,虽然检查孩子刷牙效果的家长占总数的60.11%,但能够做到每天检查的家长只有6.38%。结论有一部分儿童家长的口腔意识淡薄,家长的口腔健康知识和对孩子口腔健康的干预行为还有待提高,应该加强宣传和有针对性的教育。

Objective To survey the oral health knowledge in the parents of children aged between 5 -- 11, and to provide scientific basis for targeted oral health education. Methods The Questionnaire of the Third Survey of National Oral Health was used to investigate 1,880 parents in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province, and the data were statistically analyzed with SPSS 11.5 software. Results Altogether 80 % of parents was able to make the correct choice, but the percentage of knowing aggressive treatment of problem deciduous teeth was low （65.96 % ）. Only 39.89 % of them knew beneficial effect of fluoride toothpaste, 6.5.96 % did not know a sealant to prevent dental caries in children and the knowing rate showed a significant difference between the parents with higher and lower educational levels. 61.70 % of the parents helped their children to brush teeth. Although 60.11% of the parents taught their children brushing teeth, but daily checking only accounted for 6.38 %. Conclusions Oral health awareness among the children＇s parents in Taiyuan is not enough. The intervention knowledge of oral health has to be improved, and should intensify publicity and targeted education in the parents of children aged between .5 --11.
