个性化:中国高等教育发展的必然选择

适应性是高等教育的本质属性。高等教育的适应性有两种不同的适应观:适应社会需要价值取向和适应个体需要价值取向。高等教育由此产生两种不同的教育发展取向:社会需要适应性发展取向和个体需要适应性发展取向。社会需要适应性发展取向存在诸多局限性,表现在高校自身专业的缺失难以满足社会需要,社会需要适应性发展取向会导致"无效供给"现象,社会需要适应性发展取向有失教育的公正性,以社会需要适应性发展取向限制了人的创造性。因此,高等教育应走向个体需要适应性发展取向,个性化是我国高等教育发展的必然选择。高等教育个性化的表征主要有:高校内部管理的个性化,个性化的高等院校。
