Military Science of Sun Tzu and Operational Command Principles of USAF

在长期的作战实践中,美国空军提出了突然袭击、速战速决等一系列作战指导原则,这些原则在一定程度上反映了《孙子兵法》的一些思想。结合《孙子兵法》解读美国空军作战指导原则,总结其中符合孙子思想精髓的内容,试图从东方传统兵学的角度对美国空军作战指导原则加以诠释和分析。主要从四个方面加以分析:精确与即时的情报是空战胜利的重要因素;速战速决是作战成功的标准之一;突袭是制胜的重要途径;集中使用兵力对敌实施突击。

During the course of long-term war practice, USAF presents some operational command principles such as lightening attack and rapid decisive operations etc.. To some extent, these principles reflect some thinking of Military Science of Sun Tzu. This thesis will interpret the operational command principles of USAF and draw some conclusions upon which accord with the soul of the thinking of Sun Tzu. It attempts to annotate and analyze the operational command principles of USAF from the point of view of traditional and oriental military science. It will be conducted from the following four aspects as accurate and timely intelligence is the important element to the success of air campaign,rapid decisive operation is one of the standards for the success of air campaign,lightening attack is the key way to succeed in a war and the force will be concentrated on the attack against the enemy.
