Based on the comparative analysis of regulating valve used as fluid damping element in cleaning pipe network and RFB（resistance force balancer）,the significance of using RFB in cleaning pipe network is described,the structure,working principle and design calculation is also introduced and finally some notes that should be paid attention to in RFB are stressed.
